Christmas is Right Around the Corner, So Why is My AC Still Going Full Blast?!?

I've been making the rounds to all of our stores lately just trying to keep up with the ever changing collections being put up for sale by our amazing dealers, and man oh man I gotta tell you, this sure does not feel like any kind of weather that Santa Claus wants anything to do with as long as he's stuck in that big red suit and black leather boots!

At least it's nice and cool inside all of our stores, and dang it I really need to get the AC fixed in my old truck or get the BMW back on the road, but that's a whole 'nuther story. Anyhow believe it or not we really are only about two months away from the Christmas season! This must be what it's like to live in the southern hemisphere, where Santa gets to wear Hawaiian shirts and lounge on the beach in between deliveries, right?

And even if Christmas isn't your thing (maybe you celebrate Hanukkah or Kwanza or just the plain old Winter Solstice), you have to agree that it sure feels like it's been summer for a loooong time now! Anyhow, now that you've been warned, starting tricking your brain into holiday shopping mode despite  all the heat, all right?

Dealer Spotlights at Our Stores

‍Cream de la Cream at Kurtz Street

Earlier this week I grabbed my trusty Nikon and went for a stroll in our gigantic Kurtz Street location to seek out some hidden gems in the far corners of this iconic treasure trove. With Halloween right around the corner and fall colors being the thing this time of year, I found myself drawn toward a booth called "Cream de la Cream" at the back of the store in the second warehouse.

‍This amazing booth features retro decor, collectibles, & furniture, with an emphasis on mid-century designs. It is located across from Case Row at the end of the second warehouse. Ask one of our friendly staff for directions if you're not sure how to find it, you will be glad you did!

Be Sure to Check Out "Romeo's Treasure"

Just a few spaces over from Cream de la Cream are a slew of glass display cases full of really unique artifacts that include brass and bronze sculptures, knives and swords of all types, and lots and lots of other interesting knick knacks. The booth is named "Romeo's Treasures", and the vibe is remarkably worldwide in scope.

‍Among the many ecletctic items you will find is this stunning little glass coffee table that is supported by two bronze figurines of a man and woman holding hands while supporting the glass top with their upper bodies. You won't see somthing like this every day!

A Vintage SoCal Beach Vibe at "R Hunter"

Continuing on in the back row, if a vintage Southern California beach vibe is what you are after, check out this booth!

The booth is named "R Hunter" and features Southern California beach vibes  and retro signs, with an emphasis on iconic local San Diego landmarks and Hawaiian themes.

‍Fall Flea Market Coming to Encinitas Antique Mall

‍Our next outdoor popup sale is coming to Encinitas Antique Mall on Sunday, October 25th starting at 10am and going strong until 5pm. Come on by for fresh new merch, see our newest vendors, and shop your heart out to the vintage vinyl being spun by our own DJ Glen The Mack. It's going to be a hoot as always!
